Did you know that several of the air-raid shelters that were used during the civil war are still preserved in Gernika? We will find out how and why these shelters were built and experience the events that took place on 26 April 1937.

We will start the tour in the Plaza de los Fueros and along this one-hour route we will walk through the 'Pasileku', the place where the market was celebrated at that time, and we will end the tour in the industrial area, one of the most important strategic locations where no bombs were launched. Come and get to know in person this heritage linked to our memory and which also helps us to understand our past
