The journey of senses in Dolomitas Museum in Karrantza
Dolomitas Museum (Karrantza) houses the old dolomite material unloading station of the former Dolomitas del Norte factory and offers us the opportunity to see the last remaining aerial tramway in Bizkaia.
Through this activity, we open the gates of this factory to unveil the industrial world in a sensory way.
Sight, touch, hearing, taste, and smell shall be the protagonists in a visit for all audiences.
Participants will enjoy a recreational and participative experience, while interacting with the unique environment offered by this mid-century factory.

This activity will last for 1 hour, and it can be extended for a maximum of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The activity is aimed for all audiences, but minors must always be accompanied by an adult. It will be a guided visit,
and it will take you around the factory in a different way. Through this sensorial visit, we are going to explore the building, developing all our senses. The guide will give an initial explanation, tracing the history of the factory through sounds, and he or she will interact with visitors, who will be the main protagonists. Then, using each and every one of the senses, we will uncover anecdotes of the factory and oddities related to dolomite. This visit involves an experience where the senses will be sharpened by our amazing “time tunnel”.
At the end of the visit, the visitor will interpret the history of the Dolomitas del Norte that he/she has learned during the activity.
